2017 Tri-Con Tee Shirt Design Contest

ELIGIBILITY: The 2017 Tri-Con Tee Shirt Design Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States who are 18 years old and older. Staff of Tri-Con may not enter. Volunteers for Tri-Con are allowed.

CONTEST PERIOD: The contest runs from 12:01 AM on July 16th through August 14th 2017. The contest will have two (2) phases including the submission phase and the voting phase. The submission phase will run from July 17, 2017 through August 11, 2017. The voting phase will be begin one week into the contest on July 23, 2017 and run through August 14, 2017. This will allow people to create and submit before voting begins.

HOW TO ENTER: During the contest period, Tri-Con fans may submit 3 entries via this online form. Each design must have the Tri-Con Logo somewhere in the design. (download logo pack here) By entering, contestants warrant that each submission is their own original creation and that no entry infringes on another contestant or person’s rights. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on August 11, 2017.

VOTING: During the voting phase, follow the links and instructions on Tri-Con.net. Everyone can vote once per day. So be sure to share with your friends and keep them coming back to vote for your submissions.

GUIDELINES: Each entry must be smaller than 50MB in size and must be 12inx12in, 200 dpi and a .png file is preferred. Designs can be full color and each design must have the Tri-Con Logo somewhere in the design. (download logo pack here) Please keep it family friendly. It should go without saying we will deny any entry we deem inappropriate. We will have your design approved and online within 24 hours after submission. It can be created in any medium as long as the design meets the above criteria. If we find that your entry does not meet the required size criteria but we really like the design we may contact you directly and ask if you would be able submit a printable design if you are selected as a winner.

OWNERSHIP: Contestants retain the copyright to their designs, and all rights thereto, except as follows. By virtue of a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license for the designs granted by all contestants, Tri-Con llc shall have the right to edit, adapt, print (as on apparel or in print) and publish any or all of the designs, and may use them in any media in association with the contest and/or the promotion of Tri-Con without compensation to the contestant, his or her successors or assigns, or any other entity. By entering the contest, all contestants agree to have their submitted design used and displayed, either singularly or in combination with others and in any size, on the Tri-Con website without any fee or other form of compensation due at any time. Designs will be credited to the contestant.

JUDGING: Tri-Con Staff will approve designs and make available to the public for voting. Visitors of Tri-Con.net will vote for the top 3. Tri-Con staff will tally the votes, which will determine the Grand Prize Winner, 2nd place winner and 3rd place winner.

PRIZES: Grand Prize winner will get: 1 Tee with their design on it. $35.00 in Tri-Con Bucks (Usable the weekend if Tri-Con at most tables in the Vendor Hall and the food trucks outside the venue Sept 8-10, 2017)
2nd Place Prize winner will get: 1 Tee with their design on it. $15.00 in Tri-Con Bucks (Usable the weekend if Tri-Con at most tables in the Vendor Hall and the food trucks outside the venue Sept 8-10, 2017)
3rd Place Prize winner will get: 1 Tee with their design on it.

Prizes will be awarded in the following way: Tees and Tri-Con bucks will be shipped to the winners as soon as possible.

WINNER LIST: Winners will be notified by August 15, 2017 and announced publicly the same day via Facebook.

Tee Designs will be made available on the Tri-Con Sell My Tees store immediately following the contest.

ADDITIONAL OPTION: We have an option on the sign-up for that asks if you would like your design to be added to the Tri-Con Sell My Tees store during the contest. This does not influence the results other than it is another way to get your design out there and shared. Partial proceeds will be given to this years Charity donation.
